The Developers

The directors of Allamanda are Michael Richings and Mike Cooperthwaite.

Michael Richings is a successful UK businessman who has made St Lucia his home with his family since 1984. His wife Alison and he own and operate several successful companies in the restaurant, hotel and property sectors in St Lucia and the U.K. and have also established themselves in boat charter tourism in St Lucia.

Mike Cooperthwaite BSc (Hons) C Eng, MICE, MaPS is a long-time friend of Michael Richings and a successful businessman and property developer in the UK. Mike is also a Chartered Civil Engineer and director of a group of building and construction companies based in Shropshire UK.

Mike has been a frequent visitor to St Lucia over the last 10 years and the availability of the dramatic Anse Galet site was the impetus behind the formation of Allamanda Developments Ltd.

Mike Cooperthwaite will be on site to supervise the development from initial infrastructure to completion. Their combined experience – Mike’s construction and engineering backgrounds and Michael’s business skills and local expertise – offers the prospective buyer the opportunity to own a Caribbean home that stands up to scrutiny at international standards.

The Architects

Newel Lewis Broadbridge and Associates (W.I.) Ltd is a West Indian architectural firm that has consistently distinguished itself for style, quality and delivery. Claude Guillaume of Newel Lewis Broadbridge Associates Limited was appointed as the Architect responsible for  the design of the site. NLBA have been established in the Carribbean for over 60 years.

Claude joined the firm in 1969 and has been breaking new ground ever since with his innovative blend of classic Caribbean and updated features. His work is stamped indelibly with a uniquely Caribbean aesthetic. With several acclaimed commercial, resort and residential projects Caribbean-wide, NLBA (W.I) Ltd was the natural choice for Allamanda Developments.
